Hemorrhoids or piles are swollen veins located around the anus or in the lower rectum. Piles can either be internal or external. Internal hemorrhoids or piles develop within the anus or rectum. External piles develop outside of the anus. Of the two forms of piles, external piles are the most common and the most troublesome. Piles cause pain, severe itching, and difficulty sitting. The good news is that they’re treatable. Some times there are cases where the patient is faving fissure and piles both. The situation becomes really painful for the person.
