Normal Delivery

Types of Normal Delivery
Spontaneous: when a pregnant female goes into labor without the use of drugs or techniques to induce labor.
Assisted or Instrumental: when a pregnant female goes into labor with the use of drugs or techniques to induce labor and requires the use of special instruments to deliver the baby. Induced: when drugs or manual techniques are used to initiate the process of labor.
Caesarean Delivery
A Caesarian section or C-section is a surgical procedure in which one or more incisions are made through a mother’s abdomen and uterus to deliver one or more babies. A Caesarean section is often performed when a vaginal delivery would put the baby’s or mother’s life or health at risk.
There are various reasons due to which Gynaecologist would advise you to go for a caesarean delivery. They can be:
Not enough room for the baby to go through the vagina
Twins or more babies
The mother has health problems including HIV infection, herpes infection, and heart disease
The mother has dangerously high blood pressure

There are problems with the position of the baby, such as breech
The baby shows signs of distress, such as a slowed heart rate
